How do you Sync with New/modified Profile?

Outlook crashed causing damage to my pst file. Outlook would not reopen and I
had to set up a new profile in order to get Outlook going again. I lost all
my contacts on the pc, but have them saved in my smartphone. However, because
my smartphone is associated with the original profile in outlook, it won't
sync with the new profile. If I try to delete the original profile from my
phone to "start fresh", i get a message saying basically that if I delete the
profile then all my data will be purged from the phone. Any ideas? Any way to
save my data on the phone to a file that I could transfer over via a method
different than syncing?

You've tried repairing the pst with scanpst.exe, the repair tool

I dont know about your smartphone but my phone software has an option to
backup contacts to the pc, from thence they can be accessed by OL
