how do you convert a picture copied from internet to jpeg

please could someone help me to convert a picture i copied from the internet
to jpeg

See http://www.gmayor.com/extract_images_from_word.htm. But in this case
there is a much better solution. Go back to the page you copied the picture
from. Right-click on the picture and choose Save Picture As... Save it in My
Pictures or another convenient location. It will likely be a JPEG, but even
if it is a GIF or PNG, you're better off than by extracting it from Word.

Are you saying that it's illegal to copy pictures from the public
clip-art library, for instance?
