how do you check what is running in wmiprvse.exe

WMIPRVSE is using almost 100% of my CPU and has all but stopped my computer.
If I reboot it will work normally for a short period of time. (varies 15
minutes to 1 1/2 hours) then back to slowing the system down. When I reboot
my computer it takes around 1 hour to shut down. How can I find out what is
running in WMIPRVSE?

I also have this problem. I can kill the process and it will re-appear at
some random time and take up 100% of one core. If I suspend the process, it
does not restart until a reboot. Can someone help us out?
