How do insert contacts in an email in text form

I have Outlook 2003 and I want to be able to insert a contact into an email
in text form. The option is greyed out when using Word as the editor. I
want to continue to use Word as my editor.

Does anyone know a work around? Right now I have to open up the contact and
cut and paste every phone, Address, name etc.

Thanks,

Tim

You haven't said what nethod you use - there are a few.

Try Insert Item

Try changing just that 1 email to Rich Text and see if that works (it's in
the toolbar at top of screen when you open an email)

Thanks for the quick reply. Here's some more detail...

Insert Item does not work for HTML, Rich Text, or regular text. The option
to select Text format is greyed out.

In another post, a solution was to NOT use Word as the email editor and that
works, but I need to use Word as the editor.

Is there an option when using Word as an editor? As far as a method, I am
looking for an alternative to the 'Insert Item'.
