How do I word a letter of past credit problems

I have to write a letter explaining why and what happened in past credit
issuses

I'm not sure what you are looking for. Are you saying you do not know
how to write a letter or how to explain why you have credit issues?

If the latter then honesty is the best policy - just tell them the
truth. If the former then go to Tools/Envelopes and Labels and use the
Letter Wizard to help you.
