How do I view graphics with a red x placeholder?

A web site Shutterfly downloaded pictures from my son's wedding. All of the
pictures are replaced with a placeholder that has a red x in it. What must I
do to view these pictures?

The red 'x' usually indicates that the images are missing from the
expected location.

Please give us more details about how the message was composed, what
message format, and your Outlook version.
