Are your certificates created by use of a report in your database? Or, are
these certificates purchased in pre-printed form on some type of paper? If
it is the former, it should be very easy to design a report that prints each
certificate with the appropriate name and certification.

If it is the latter, you'll need to design a custom report that prints the
values at the appropriate locations. This will take some trial and error to
get it right. Use blank paper to test the correct print locations, and hold
the printed results with a certificate up to a light to compare for correct
overlay position.

When printing onto a preprinted form or certificate I have discovered
what works best for me is;

1. Save the document as an image.

2. Create a new Report in Access and insert the image.

3. Create a table of the recipeint names and other fields that will
appear on the certificate ie narrative,

This will also allow you to print subsequent certificate for the future
events.

If you have Publisher and Excel you can also do a mail merge. It is
pretty impressive to see a thousand certificates ready for print in
seconds.
