how do i type on a scanned document

i scanned a document using an hp 1210v. i figured out how to scan it to
word. but i can't type on it to email it. i need alittle help with this
one.

thanks in advance to anyone that can heip me with this.

Set the scanned imaged 'behind text' and type over it.

When you say that you scanned it into Word, that doesn't mean that you
scanned it in as text. That requires OCR software. Chances are you have it,
most scanners come with some sort. I'd suggest you read the Help file for
the program that came with your scanner.
