Hello!

Using IE 6.0, I need to access the code of a spam page that does not allow a
"right click", "Select All", "View Source", or anything!!! Isn't there a way
in the IE 6.0 setup that will let me to turn off JAVA, and access the page
code???

Thank You!!!

Is it Java, or is it JavaScript. They are not the same thing at all. There
are different locations to disable things, depending upon which it is you
need disabled.

Well, how do you turn off each one - or BOTH?? ... It's just a matter of
unchecking some boxes, isn't it

Well, yes. Something about Internet Options|Security|Custom Level.

MSFT calls JavaScript "Active Scripting". You will want to do this for the
"Internet" zone. It is perfectly feasible, indeed, that was MSFT's intent,
to set a trusted site to permit ActiveX and JavaScript to run in the
"Trusted sites" zone, while limiting, or preventing such scripts from
running in the Internet zone.

Java permissions will be found under the heading, "Microsoft VM".
JavaScript permissions will be found under the heading, "Scripting". I
think, but am not sure, that "Scripting of Java applets" refers to using
JavaScript to call a Java routine.
