How do i transfer my address book to a new computer?

i'm using Outlook 2000 as my email program and Windows 2000 Professional as
OS. How do I transfer my Outlook address book to my new computer? i've
already done a search for .pab files based on something i read in this forum,
but i get 0 results.
pls help asap!

The address book is actually just a different view of your contacts folder,
and all your contacts are contained in your .PST file, just like your e-mail,
appointments, tasks, etc. Find your .PST file, copy it to the new computer
(you can put it anywhere you want), make sure it's not set to "read-only",
then open Outlook and click File | Open | Personal Folders File. Then browse
to your copied .PST file and it will open in your Folder List (View | Folder
List if it's not already showing).
