How do I supress a footnote on one page only?

I have several pages in a document and need to supress my footnote on one
page. I cannot alter it on the one page. I checked the general "Help"
suggestions without success.

Word will let you suppress endnotes in a section, but you would need to
have section breaks before and after the page for that to work, and then
the endnote would show up at the end of the next section, and endnotes
use a different numbering stream than footnotes. That's probably not the
best approach.

Can you describe the doc a little bit and why you need to suppress this
one footnote?

On way, for instance, would be to put the footnote itself a different
page (find some logical reason to repeat the citation), and on the page
where you don't want the footnote at the bottom, use a cross-reference
to the actual note to show just the correct superscripted number.

My guess is that the OP wants to suppress the footer, not a footnote.

If so, there are several ways. To suppress the footer on the first page of a
section, use "Different first page" in the Page Setup dialog box.

To suppress the foote on a particular page, you can use a conditional field:
{ IF { PAGE } = 24 "" "Footer contents here" }.

To insert each pair of field delimiter, press Ctrl+F9. To update fields,
select them and press F9. To show/hide field codes, use Alt+F9.
