How do I stop Word auto-correcting kV to KV?

Auto- correcting kV to KV has only happened since upgrading to Word 2003. I
have inserted a rule that auto-corrects KV to kV as a work around. But there
must be an easier way. I have tried "exceptions" but the system will not
accept kV.

Have you looked to see whether this isn't an entry in the AutoCorrect list? You
might also want to check the language formatting of the text where you see this
happening. It could be you're picking up a list from another language.

You also want to check that this isn't a result of a "Capitalize first
letter..." option in the top part of that dialog box. FWIW, though, nothing
happens when I type kV here.

Thanks for the response, I have checked the formatting and found that, on the screen kV changes but not to KV. The k seems increase to be an intermediate font. When I print, the lower case is OK. Seems to be a screen aberration. I'll live with it.
