Well I recently installed SpamAssassin on my server for my domain, and that
is how many installations are set up - to rewrite the subjects of stuff that
is spam. Check the internet headers to see if some spam software on the
server is re-writing the subjects. You can do this by right-clicking an
email summary line and selecting "Options" at the bottom. Look for headers
with stuff like "X-Spam-Status", etc. SpamAssassin will also have one
called "X-Spam-Prev-Subject" (at least if it's the same version as mine)
which will show the original subject (likely the same one you see minus the
[SPAM]).
