Hi

Anyone know any way to stop the Send/Recieve process from
taking up so much processor time?

When I download my zillions of spam each day it ties up my PC
so I can barely use it!

I suspect that all my rules are half the problem... and that SpamBayes
(my spam filter - which seems reasonably good, though not perfect, btw)
is the other half of the problem.

Trouble is I definitely need both!

Nothing much you can do about it I guess. Just make sure you've applied all
updates to Office, Windows and SpamBayes and that your system is in good
condition; enough memory available, good processor and a defragmented
harddisk.

Also try to prevent spammer finding you; posting your address in a newsgroup
is not one of those ;-)

Yeah, done all that!

Sadly for now it has to remain on our website.
Not clever I know...
