How do I stop from going to new messages instead of next message?

I am used to opening mail messages and reading them, then deleting or filing.
My Outlook used to move me to the next item (Previous item in "Message
Handling"). Recently, I upgraded to MS Office Outlook 2007, now if I get a
new email while reading through my mail, this email is immediately opened
next rather than the next one in the queue.

Any way i can fix this?
