I have made a pie chart with appropriate percentages but the data labels at
the top and bottom are cut off the slide. How do I adjust so that all data
labels are viewable?

Have you tried reducing the size of your pie chart? If that doesn't work,
then you might need to resize the date labels in a smaller font.

Click on your pie chart to select it. Next go to the upper right hand corner
of the area until you notice an upperword slanting double arrow-ended
pointer. Then you need to Left Click and hold while you move your
pointerinward to the left. By working from the corner of the object, you
maintain the same proportions of your chart (just making it smaller). You
may need to reposition your new smaller pie chart when you finish.

I can get the double arrow and decrease size of chart, legend and data labels
but no matter how small or large I size it here the same top and bottom data
labels are cut off

Actually What you said previously worked "formatting the plot area" but only
if you were already in the edit chart mode. Once I clicked on edit chart, I
could click near the pie chart and have a box that contained only that come
up and so I could recduce the size. I could also expand the box so that
chart fit better that way. Thanks much for your help!

You're very welcome for the suggestions. I'm glad you got it to work for
you. I'm not an expert, but I've had to resize many objects in my
presentations and documents.
