how do i share an access database via a wireles conncetion

Thanks John, I will look to find another way of doing it. Its a great shame I
need to as this has been working well and seems quite a normal way that
people may use Access and a wireless connection without realising the
problems. I am still surprised that it isnt common knowledge as I only found
out because I had to have the power unit on my desktop fixed and wanted to
set it up in the same way on one of our laptops in the meantime. regards Chris

a starting point would be to upsize the data to SQL Server
first which would likely make the wireless connection much less
likely to corrupt the Access BE.

Uh, don't you mean it would make it *impossible* to corrupt the
Access BE, given that the back end would no longer be in Access
(i.e., Jet) at all?
