How do I set up tabs for fill-in blanks on forms?

I am creating standard written reports with blanks to fill in. How do set up
tabbing so that I can tab from one blank to the next one? For example, "This
report is written for ______________ on the following property,
______________" This form is for me to fill in, not anyone else. Would I
need to create a Merge form??? Thanks.

I checked, and it is not quite what I am looking for. That type of form is
protected and is for others to fill in blanks. The form I am creating is for
myself only and only I am to fill in the blanks. Thanks though.

There is no reason you can't create a protected form and fill in the blanks
yourself. But perhaps you'd be happier with MacroButton fields? See
