How do I send email without going through the exchange server.

I am using Microsoft Outlook 2003. Every since we swithched to it and our
mail goes through the exchange server when I forward an email with pictures
the pictures do not go through. If I delete the Microsoft Exchange Server
Account and just forward through my POP account the emails go through ok. I
have tried all of the different outgoing email formats (HTML & Plain text)
and it didn't make a difference. Does anyone have ant other ideas?

Is there a cap on mail attachment size or attachment filtering in place at
your end?
Are the emails sitting in your outbox or being sent but not delivered?

There is no cap or filtering that I can see. The reciprients are getting the
emails, it is just that when they open them there is a red X where the
picture should be. Before I switched to Outlook 2003 I used Outlook Express
and they didn't have any problems. Some of the people I send to don't have
any problems while other ones do.

It is emails that I received that already had pictures in them. I did find
something else out on it. Some of the emails go through with no problems and
they get the pictures. I compared an email that they had problems with to one
that went through ok. I checked the properties on both emails. The one that
went through ok is showing the location as Inbox and the one that didn't go
through showed the location as Microsoft Office Outlook Embedded Message.
Does that help any?
