How do I search and replace tabs with spaces?

Edit | Replace and click on the more button. Select Tab character from the
Special menu and type a space in the Replace box. Then hit Replace All. Does
this solve your problem?

I tried that for 2 days and it didn't work. I just tried it again and this
time it worked! Thanks!

G'Day Sher,

In the Find what box, type the TWO characters ^t which represent a TAB,
and in the Replace with box, a single space.
