I have a Word 2003 master doc with 30 subdocs (chapters). How can I do a Save
As to save this file as one single combined doc; i.e, one regular .doc file?
(No subdocs)

TIA

In Outline View for the Master, select all subdocuments, click the Remove
Subdocuments button, then Save As whatever. (Would probably be a good idea to
have a backup copy first.)

Thanks, but the 'Remove' button seems to be greyed out. My research on Master
Documents appears to indicate that they are Evil in any case, so I think I
will dispense with them entirely. Again, thanks for the prompt response.
