How do I remove Outlook 2003 Cached Mode files from a computer?

I have a laptop computer that was used for business briefly and used to
connect to our exchange server. The user is giving the laptop to family and
wants his emails off of it permanently before giving it away. I have read
that removing the Outlook profile does not get rid of the .ost files. The
laptop is a Windows XP machine with Outlook 2003 running in cached mode.

OSTs reside at C:\Documents and Settings\userid\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

I would delete all OSTs and remove (but keep for backup) all archive.PSTs

Local Settings is hidden so you'll have to enable viewing of hidden folders.
