The person who Assigns the Task has two ways to control whether they receive
updates. They can change the default setting and they can change the setting
on specific Tasks as they Assign them.
The setting is "Keep an updated copy of this Task on my Task list" It
appears on each Task when they click "Assign".
The default is at: Tools | options | Task Options
