I used to have a 2nd dc in my domain. it crashed and somehow th server still
wants to do NTFRS etc. and I keep getting error messages. I can't take it
out from NTDTS because it doesn't allow me. Is there a way that I can remove
the 2nd DC through the registry or a script?

NTDSUtil.exe "metadata cleanup"

Just search MS etc for that.

Google: [ NTDSUtil "metadata cleanup" site:microsoft.com ]
or: [ NTDSUtil "metadata cleanup" microsoft: ]
