how do I recover emails on my laptop with same email address

I have a tower and laptop which are configured to use one email account. When
I check my emails on either machine, I can't see emails on the other machine.
I need to retrieve emails from my laptop which has now crashed.

Any suggestions please.

Windows version?
Can you access the hard drive? (I put mine in a usb case and read it from
the other computer) If you can read the drive, browse to \Documents and
Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook and copy
the pst. It's a hidden folder so you either need to paste the path in the
windows address bar or enable show hidden files.

If you can't access the drive to recover the pst file, you're out of luck
unless you have a backup to restore.

In the future, you should set outlook to leave mail on the server - that way
both machines get copies of all mail.

More info about Outlook's folder paths is here:
