How do I populate a distribution list by selecting a category?

I have 260 names in a Contact category that I wish to add to a new
distribution list. Is there a way to make this addition by selecting the
Category rather than selecting each Name individually? I am using Outlook

Why would you want to do that? DL's don't work. If you've gone to the
trouble of creating a category, use it instead of a DL. That method is far
more reliable.

use a Category, in essence, like a DL. The hyperlink you provided said it
all!
