Hello! I want to send the powerpoint to my mate, but he thinks that the music
on it wont work on his computer. How can I make it so it does play on his
computer or any computer I send it to?

Sure, if he has support for music (drivers etc..). it should work fine (providing of course that u are providing a common format (such as wav, mp3 etc..)

If it's a linked music file, the music file must be sent along with the
presentation. (Only WAV files are embedded, and only then when their size
doesn't exceed the limit that you have set in Tools > General.) If the music
file is an MP3 or WMA, for example, you need to zip the presentation and music
file together, send the zip file, and instruct your mate to unzip the file to a
folder on his hard drive and play it from there.

However, first you must make sure that the file was linked so that the link
won't break. For that see:

Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or links break when I move or email a
presentation
