How do I play a Powerpoint 2003 project made at home in WindowsXP.

I made a Powerpoint 2003 project at home on Windows XP for my 7th grade
class. I burned a CD and tried to play it on a "MAC" at school. Most of the
slides played but their was no sound or music, the slide timing was all wrong
and the animations did not work.
How can I play a windows powerpoint project on a MAC?

Please help

PS: I tried publishing the project to my web broswer but it's still not
playing correctly.
