I have copied a .pst and .pab file from my previous computer and save it to a
disc. so now i'm trying to open both file using the outlook in my new
computer but it can't read the file? Do you have any idea how can i open that
file especially the .pst file.

Hi,
You haven't said what version of outlook you are using, but in 2003 you can
go to file in the main menu>open>outlook database> and then navigate to where
your pst file is. On other versions, I believe you have to right click on the
icon on the desk and say you want to open an outlook data file.
Alternatively you can import the pst file into Outlook if you want to have
continuous access. Again, file>import-export>from a program or file >and
navigate to where the file is and bring it in. I think you can import the
pab the same way but not positive.
Hope this helps
Wendie
