How do I open a PPS file attachment?

I received an e-mail with attached PPS file. When I clck to open the file, a
window pops up with the following. This file does not have a program
associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the
Set Associations control panel. How do I do this?

Hello,

I had made the change in the registry in mid 2007 and all was working fine.

As of last week I again cannot open .pps files even though the registry
still shows the correction I made to it.

In addition, I also cannot open attached PDF files.

I can save both .pps & PDF files to my desktop and open from there, but not
as attachments in Windows Mail.

I tried uninstalling PowerPoint Viewer 2007, and was going to re-install it,
but received an error message telling me "The installation source for this
product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can
access it."

I had installed PowerPoint Viewer 2007 from the MS website.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Mike

Thank you Gary - I ran the PDF fix and was able to open both PDF and .pps
files from Windows Mail. The registry fix was already in place for PowerPoint
Viewer 2007.

I'll keep the uninstall info for PPV 2007 in case I have to use it.
