How do I nudge a chart position in vista PPT?

I want to nudge a columnar bar chart in Vista PPT. When I select the chart
and attempt to move it with the up/down/left/right arrow keys, all I get is
navigation WITHIN the chart, from one object to another--all I want to do is
move the chart itself in small increments to align it with other things on
the page.
