how do i move outlook files

i have outlook 2002 on my notebook, i am setting up a new desktop with
outlook 2003. can my emails, addresses, accounts setup, and calendars
be transferred to my new computer? how?

Thanks Vince, I looked it over, but before I attempt something above
my level, let me ask this. Are there files that I can simply copy
from the old computer onto a zip drive and paste into the app on the
new computer. I think I can manage that without problem if it can be
done....again thanks for the response...

Yes, there are files (such as your PST file) but you wouldn't get your
settings & such

Vince, I have found the outlook.pst file in the winnt dir on the
notebook. the same search on the desktop does not show any .pst
files, do i have to make a sample input in order to create a .pst file
on the desktop?

Actually you should just move the PST file to other computer and use it
there. Move it, then open it using the File menu > Open > Outlook Data file
command. You can then set Outlook to use it as the default file in the
Control Panel's Mail applet. Click the Email accounts button, choose
"View/Change existing accounts", click Next then choose the PST in question
in the "Deliver new e-mail to the following location" dropdown
