How do I minimize an htm document that gets larger each time I up.

When I update a webpage, the text size is fine in FrontPage but when I open
up my website the document is huge. I've tried smaller font and smaller
rows/columns. Each time I update this one page the size gets larger and
larger. Can someone tell me why and how to fix this? I am getting
complaints from our offices.
