How do I make a menu with sub categories that slide out?

I am building a website and our director wants a menu where the sub
categories slide out. Have premade a menu from flashation, and want to use
it, but they do not have the subcategory option. Can I make a slide menu
using the template I already have? Here is an example of what he wants.
