How do I link my page to search engines like Google?

I created a one page free web page on www.freewebs.com, but I don't think it
is linked to the outside www. I want everybody the searches the internet
with search engines like Google, Excite, etc. to hit my web page. What must
I do in to link my site to these major search engines?

You must go to each and submit the URL to your site.
