How do I jump to another slide within a bulleted list and return to the list afterward

Hi All,

I would think that this would be relatively easy, but I can't seem to
find it in the help files. I have a presentation with bulleted lists
and charts. I want to be able to click my way through the bulleted
lists, occasionally jumping to a chart and then returning to the next
bullet in the list. I am running Powerpoint 2003. Ideally, I would
like to also have a top level slide where I can jump to sections of the
presentation and then return back to the top level slide before
proceeding with the next section.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Create Custom Shows from the slides you want to jump to (Slide Show > Custom
Show).

Then for each item on your bulleted list, create an Action Setting (Slide
Show > Action Setting > Hyperlink to > Custom Show) to link to the
appropriate show. When you are creating the Action Setting be sure to "Show
and return, so you will automatically return to your bulleted list after
you've viewed Custom Show slides.

Your best bet is probably to put the sections in Custom Shows, then link
to the custom show with the Show and Return box checked. Alternatively,
put a button on the slides that you linked to that either returns to
"Last Slide Viewed" (if you linked to one slide) or directly to the menu
slide if it is a section with more than one slide.
