How do I insert an audio clip into a word document?

I am trying to insert an mp3 audio clip into a Word document. However, I'm
not sure how to link the clip to the document so that it will transfer
through email. Any help would be appreciated.

Click Insert>>Object...>>Click Create from new>>CLick the browse button and
select you audio file
