how do I insert a web site link in an email message?

There has got to be an easy way to add a link to a web site into an email so
that the reader recipient just clicks it and is taken directly to the web
page.

You have tried copying and pasting the URL, haven't you? That's the standard
way of doing it.....

Easiest way is to just type or copy/paste it in. Always follow the link with space, period, carriage return, etc.

Copy/paste, as the two previous posts suggest, is the easy way.

If the link contains spaces, then use Insert | Hyperlink.
