How do I insert a horizontal line in a task?

I would like to be able to insert a horizontal line in "TASKS", but can't
find a way to do that. Is it possible?

Which version of Outlook are you talking about?

You mean in the note section of an opened task item?
Type 3 dashes (---) and then press Enter. Does it get converted into a
horizontal line for you now?
