How do I increase the margin on the slides I have created

I have created an A4 landscape document. Some of my images and text are close
to the edge of the frame. Can I scale down the size of the total contents of
the slide without changing the page size, thus creating a larger margin or
border on the page. Or do I need to work with each item on the slide
separately?

When you print your document by going....

File menu > print > there is normally a 'properties' button next to the name
of your printer. Have a browse through the options. As some printer
'drivers' have options for either 'margins' or 'scaling' eg Print this A4
page 80% smaller
