How do I import SVG in Word 2007?

I can't really believe that there still should not be a possibility to import
a SVG in Word 2007 (or Powerpoint) - what sense would it make to finally use
an accesible document file format without being able to work with the
standard vector graphics file format? So is there a way that I just don't get?

hmm, I cannot test this at the moment, but if I interpret the following
KB article correctly, it should be possible (Method 4).
