Help on importig into PowerPoint

How do I import documents into PowerPoint to create a slide show or to do a
presentation. I would like to scan them in, but dont know how to capture
them in the program. Thanks

you can import and scan documents directly into PowerPoint as mentioned in
the link by "vindys" if you have PowerPoint 2003. If you are using PowerPoint
2007 you will not find this option to scan directly to PowerPoint. So you
have to scan the documents first with any scanning software on you computer
and then insert the images as mentioned.

You go to Insertion/Object and choose your file

You don't need to capture documents, PowerPoint has the function of
importing the document into PowerPoint.
Go to " insert" ->" Object", in the pop-up dialog box select " Create
from file", then click the " Browse...", choose the document you want
to import and then click "ok".
After these steps, the document can be shown in the presentation.
