I am struggling with similar problems. Most of my columns in excel are
imported correctly though. Do not know if this helps you, but here are my
experiencies (Versio 2003):
1) The MS help file incorrectly suggest converting data to CSV format. This
hardly work, but importing contacts to MS excel and then importing to BCm
worked.
2) There is a wired mapping issue somewhere. I think that it has something
to do with the fact that BCm tries to interpret the full address and split it
up into separate datafields. One such wired thing is that when I have address
in excel and map it to business adress in BCM, it never works. I suspect one
should map "address" in excel" to "street" in BCM, but I have not seen street
in my list. US address style is not so useful in other countries which may be
part of my problem though
3) Have you tried to format the columns properly in excel before exporting?
If all data is in "general" format, that may be an issue in certain cases.
