how do I get the XP logon userid using VB and access 2003 module

I have an Access 97 application using vb to obtain the logged on userid
currently running on windows NT. We are now upgrading to windows XP. When I
now run the Access 97 application it fails as the userid path is different.
Please could you tell me how I should get this information from the windows
XP registry.
I will also be looking to convert from Access 97 to 2003 are there any known
areas that will need to be changed to make a successful conversion.
