Alt + f11 to enter vba editor

Then in Project Explorer look for a module (probably "module 1") and right
click and remove it.

Try choosing Disable macros and then saving it again. It should save
without any sign of the macros.

I just tried both methods, and this one works. The one I suggested didn't.
Now I wonder how my students accidentally deleted the macros when they
edited a presentation I gave them that included macros. I thought that they
had opened it with macros disabled and saved it.

When you go to vba editor > project explorer can you see anything except VBA
Project (filename)??

Delete anything else

(1) Hit Alt-F11 to enter the VBA Editor.
(2) Go to the View menu and choose Project Explorer.
(3) You should now see a box on the left of your screen that says VBA
Project. If it has a + sign next to the words "VBA Project," click on the
+ sign.
(4) You should now see the word "Modules" under the word "VBA Project."
If there is a + sign next to the word "Modules" click the + sign.
(5) You should now see a list of modules under the word "Modules,"
probably named Module1, Module2, etc. (there is probably only one).
(6) Click on the module to highlight it.
(7) Go to the File menu and choose "Remove Module1" (if your module is
not named "Module1," then it will say have the name of your module
instead of "Module1") and say no to export the module.
(8) Repeat step 7 as needed until all modules are gone.
(9) You might also have the words "Microsoft PowerPoint Objects." Remove
these just as you did for the modules (see steps 4-8).
(10) Close the VBA editor and save your project.
(11) Close your presentation. When you re-open it, you should not be
asked to enable macros.

Does that help?
