How do I get rid of floating dots between words in Word documents

T

Tandem Ted

Somehow, my Word 2003 documents all have floating dots between words and
paragraph marks at the end of each sentence and before each paragraph. How do
I make them go away?

Thanks

Ted

Ted,

You're seeing the "non-printing" characters in the document. There's a very
good article on them on the Word MVP site:
http://word.mvps.org/FAQS/Formatting/NonPrintChars.htm. It includes
instructions on how to make them go away, as well as information on why it
might be helpful to see them - at least sometimes.
