How do I get my attachments to emails out of the body of my email

I just loaded Office 2003 (Outlook) to a new Vista Home Premium machine, now
when I attach a file, the file is put into the body of my email not up on an
"attachment" line. Is there a setting to change how an attachment is
attached to the email?

Yes, change from Outlook's default Rich Text format to either plain text or
HTML.
