How do I get bullets to appear on second column?

I am trying create a bulleted list on my resume but the bullets will not
appear on the second column can anyone help me?

How are you creating the columns? You can use the Bullets button to create
separate bulleted lists in table columns and newspaper-style (snaking
columns), but if you are using tabbed columns, you will need to insert the
bullet manually from Insert | Symbol.
