how do i get 2000 off my machine

i have 2000 pro loaded but my hard drive is to small to
cope how can i reformat my drive so that i can reload 95.i
have tried the dos prompt in accessorys i have tried f8 on
start up i have tried changing the boot up drive to the cd
with 95 in it i have also tried to get in through del on
start up any ideas before the machine goes out the window

Start the 2000 setup from the CD when you are asked where to install and
presented with options to create and delete disk space, DELETE the current
2000 install and exit the setup. Then do the 95 install.

If you installed using NTFS regular dos boot floppy will
not see the file structure. you can try the above
mentioned method, or get a NTdos disk.
I think booting with a w98/me disk and going into fdisk
then delete the active partition, then reactivating it
then format might work.
