How do I fix uneven printing in Word?

When printing a letter or doc., the whole body of the letter prints unevenly.
In other words, the margin on the left of the page should be even from the
top of the page to the bottom. In my case, if I measured from the top the
margin, let's say it should be 3", by the time you get to the bottom of the
page the left margin is 4".
If the letter was in, let's say a copy machine, it's as if I placed the
letter in the copy machine "cocked" or did not line up the page straight
before making the copy, SO when the page prints, the whole doc. or letter is
printed at a slight angle, or unevenly. How do I fix this problem?? Thanks.

This is a mechanical problem with your printer and not attributable to
Windows or Word.

Almost certainly a problem with the paperfeed mechanism of your printer.

I saw that one time on a brand new printer. We tore it apart and found a
tiny piece of the Styrofoam packing blocks stuck in the gears. Get a good
flashlight and a pair of tweezers ready.
